From the&nbsp;first day of&nbsp;the&nbsp;war the&nbsp;President of&nbsp;the&nbsp;EAP Prof. Adamos Hadjipanayis, the&nbsp;members of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Executive Committee and the&nbsp;national representatives of&nbsp;the&nbsp;EAP member countries have been in&nbsp;constant direct contact with the&nbsp;Board of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Ukrainian Academy of&nbsp;Pediatric Specialties. And it`s not only an&nbsp;interest in&nbsp;events, it&nbsp;is a&nbsp;sincere desire to&nbsp;help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first days of&nbsp;the&nbsp;war, the&nbsp;organization signed a&nbsp;call for&nbsp;the&nbsp;protection of&nbsp;children&#8217;s rights in&nbsp;Ukraine, and after the&nbsp;unexpected escalation of&nbsp;the&nbsp;conflict and&nbsp;increasing rate of&nbsp;children in&nbsp;war victims members of&nbsp;EAP signed a&nbsp;call to&nbsp;close the&nbsp;sky over Ukraine.<br>The issues of&nbsp;medical care for&nbsp;Ukrainian children in&nbsp;European countries, help for&nbsp;Ukrainian doctors and&nbsp;nurses is&nbsp;constantly discussed in&nbsp;the&nbsp;EAP chat and&nbsp;e-mail correspondence. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eapaediatrics.eu\/\">European Academy of&nbsp;Pediatrics<\/a> has&nbsp;provided a&nbsp;\u20ac&nbsp;10,000 humanitarian grant to&nbsp;its Ukrainian counterparts and&nbsp;has&nbsp;announced on&nbsp;its website a&nbsp;fundraiser for&nbsp;humanitarian aid to&nbsp;Ukrainian children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A podcast recently recorded by&nbsp;journalist Andrew Lansley of&nbsp;the&nbsp;LOW news agency recently appeared on&nbsp;the&nbsp;EAP website.
